West Chester’s splash playground at Beckett Park opens Memorial Day, and if you have kids who burn through summer energy at an alarming pace, this place belongs on your list.
The splash playground at Beckett Park West is widely considered the largest free splash pad in Ohio. It has towering spray features, dumping buckets, ground jets and enough room that kids are not constantly crashing into each other every five seconds. Parents of multiple kids, you know exactly why that matters.
The splash area sits inside Beckett Park West at 8545 Beckett Road in West Chester and is surrounded by one of the better park setups in the Cincinnati suburbs. There is a large inclusive playground, paved walking trails, ponds, picnic shelters and plenty of open space to dry off and keep playing once the water shuts off.

The township recently completed maintenance repairs and upgrades ahead of the season, including a new water feature and updated equipment.
The splash playground is free to visit and typically draws big crowds on especially hot afternoons, so weekday mornings are your friend if you prefer a slightly calmer experience.
