Take a family holiday trip down to Petersburg, Kentucky and visit ChristmasTown at the Creation Museum!
ChristmasTown at the Museum runs from 5p-8:30p on select days from November 24 through December 30.
Seeing the lights is free, just pay $15 for parking! This highly anticipated holiday celebration features a dazzling display of lights through the outdoor landscape and the Garden of Lights. Check out the light-covered animal sculptures as they come to life under the stars.Â
ChristmasTown Nativity
Be sure to stop by the live nativity scene! The kids will remember seeing beloved Bible characters in motion. The entire family will also enjoy the display of different animals and the opportunity to interact with them! The playground is available for use with your admission to the museum.Â
Noah’s Cafe
Noah’s Cafe is open during ChristmasTown, with the last meal being served at 7p. The cafe features salads, burgers, fries, soup, wraps, sandwiches and a variety of snacks. Both vegetarian and gluten free options are available.
Creation Museum Bookstore
Need Christmas gifts? The gift shop and bookstore is open and full of unique toys, Science kits, DVD’s, clothes, books, and so much more.
Zip Line
Want to view the breathtaking lights from a different perspective? Consider purchasing tickets to take a ride down the zip line! Book your spot on the website in advance.Â
Creation Museum
The Museum’s Main Lobby, Stargazer Planetarium, and the Special Effects Theater will be open for visitors. You can see “The Christmas Star” at the Planetarium ( $9 ages 11+ or $6 ages 5-10) or the free special effects show called “Encounter the Wonder,” all about the story of Christ beginning in the book of Genesis. Other Creation Museum exhibits are NOT included with ChristmasTown.
