As the seasons change, the natural world transforms—leaves fall, animals prepare for the cold, and plants settle into quiet rest. In this collage-making class, we’ll explore the beauty of this transition into winter. Using layered papers, textures, and found materials, participants will create artwork inspired by shifting landscapes, migrating animals, bare trees, and the subtle colors of the season. Leave with a masterpiece to hang on your wall!
This class encourages close observation of how both plants and animals adapt during this time of year. Students will experiment with composition, texture, and contrast to capture the feeling of change, rest, and resilience. No prior experience is necessary—just curiosity and a willingness to explore art through the lens of nature’s seasonal rhythms. This program is designed for adults and children ages 7 and up and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Preregistration required.
