ALL ABOARD! Holiday Junction returns November 10

Celebrate 77 years of winter whimsy as Holiday Junction featuring the Duke Energy Holiday Trains rolls back into Union Terminal on November 10! Alongside the 77th season of the Duke Energy Holiday Trains, test your wit with our Holiday Scavenger Hunt, mingle in the magical worlds and winter wonderlands built of LEGO bricks in Brickopolis and, of course, lay out those winter wishes to Santa himself when he makes his grand arrival by helicopter courtesy of UC Health on Friday, November 24.

Let’s get cookin’

Pull up a seat, roll up your sleeves and join us as we cook up the science, history and culture of food in our newly opened Cr(eat)e Culinary Studio featuring the Kroger Food Lab. Discover the chemical reactions that change flavor and textures, explore foods that reveal cultural histories and hone your tactile motor skills to bring it all together.

Go, go, Girlhood!

Girlhood (It’s complicated) is now open and explores the diversity of girls’ experience over more than 200 years and through approximately 200 objects. The exhibition examines the ways American girls have spoken up, challenged expectations and used their voices to change history in the following:

A new exhibit 450 million years in the making

Our new permanent exhibit Ancient Worlds Hiding in Plain Sight is now open! In this immersive gallery, explore prehistoric environments and the animals and plants that lived in the Cincinnati region 450 million years ago. Discover how fossils are formed and investigate the connections between extinct and modern species. See how processes such as evolution, extinction and climate change impacted these communities, and how understanding it all can help us tackle the issues we face today.
