5 Eggcellent Events this Weekend in Cincinnati

Easter is just a week away, and this weekend features some of the very best Egg Hunts of the season! Candy, Easter Bunny visits and egg hunts… what could be better? However, if you’d prefer, you can also get fill of candy and magic at The Weston’s Candy Land Canstruction® Workshop and the Aronoff’s Matilda the Musical.

Mark your calendar for these 5 eggcellent events this weekend in Cincinnati:

Easter Spectacular at Winton Woods
Sat., April 8 at 10:45 and 11:30 a.m. and 12:15, 1 and 1:45 p.m.
Easter Spectacular at Parky’s Farm is for kids of all ages and includes lunch, a wagon ride to an Easter egg hunt with a surprise for the kids, a photo with the Easter Bunny, live entertainment and more! Advanced ticket purchase is required — get yours today for one of the above time slots!

Easter Egg Hunt at Washington Park
Sat., April 8 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
This event is free and open to the public. Produced by 3CDC, this annual Easter Egg Hunt features 10,000 candy-filled eggs and photos with Mr. Easter Bunny & Mrs. Easter Bunny. The hunt will be divided into age groups. BYOB (basket).

Families Create! Candy Land Canstruction® Workshop
Sat., April 8 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
One of the Weston’s most popular workshop projects: kids will use candy, crackers, and cookies to make sweet and savory structures, then eat their sculptures! Create with candy! Yum! All workshops are $5 per child and conducted at the Weston Art Gallery in the Aronoff Center for the Arts. Pre-registration is required.

Nest Fest
Sat., April 8 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at Chilo Lock 34 Park
Join us for some spring-themed fun! Learn how to identify bird eggs and nests. Use your “owl eyes” for our egg hunt, and meet birds of prey up close with our friends from RAPTOR Inc! This event is free and open to the public.

Matilda the Musical
Shows run through April 16 at the Aronoff Center
Winner of 50 international awards, including four Tony Awards, Matilda the Musical is the story of an extraordinary girl who, armed with a vivid imagination and a sharp mind, dares to take a stand and change her own destiny.
