Indoor Skating Rinks:
Kettering Ice Arena
Drop-In or become an annual pass holder to enjoy lots of skating at Kettering Ice Arena. Plus, visit their calendar of events for Holiday Skates and much more. Kettering is also the host to youth and adults involved in figure skating, ice hockey, ice skating lessons and leisure skating.
South Metro Ice
South Metro Sports offers public ice skating throughout the calendar year, please check the schedule for days and times. Admission for children (under 18) is $7 and adults are $8. Figure or hockey skate rental is $2. Prior to skating first session waivers must be filled out and will be kept on file.
Hobart Arena
Hobart Arena offers public and family ice skating hours throughout the calendar year, please check the schedule for days and times. They offer groups rates for 20 or more. Family Skate Sessions: families with one paying parent will be admitted for half the admission price. Adults $6.00, Youth (14 & under) $5.00, Senior (60+) $4.00, Skate Rental $2.50. Outdoor Skating Rinks:
Five Rivers MetroParks Ice Rink
Are you looking for a leisurely afternoon with the family or a competitive night on the ice? Check out all the skating activities to choose from at the MetroParks Ice Rink. Daily admission is $5 and ice skate rental is $2. Skaters ages 3 and younger are admitted free with a paying adult. Located at 237 E Monument Ave, Dayton. Now until March 1sts.

Northland Ice Center
Whether wanting to compete, learn or just have a great time, Northland Ice Center is the place for the whole family to skate. Children (12 and under) can skate for $7, Adults $9.00 and skate rental and trainers are FREE. Located at 10400 Reading Road, Evendale
Sports Plus
Miss E’s favorite place to skate for fun and competition (the parents enjoy it too for their Bar & Grill and lots of hockey to watch). Check the online schedule for public skating time and a skate pass is only $10 (skate rental is FREE). Learn to Skate Cincinnati
Learn to Skate Cincinnati offers a variety of programming from skating lessons and ice hockey classes. Classes are for all ages and abilities; and are offered in recreational skating, competitive figure skating, and beginning skating for ice hockey. Northern Kentucky Ice Center
The Northern Kentucky Ice Center offers public skating sessions all week long. Sessions are open to all ages and skill levels. For your safety and enjoyment, all public sessions are supervised by ice monitors. Plus, the newly renovated snack bar is open during all public sessions. Admission is $6.00 and skate rental is $2.00. Children 10 and under receive a $1.00 discount off admission. Located at 2638 Anderson Road, Cresent Springs, KY
Outdoor Skating Rinks:
Fountain Square
Fountain Square Ice Rink is open now through February 2nd. This is a fun Cincinnati tradition for the whole family! Cost is $6 for admission and $4 for skate rental. Children under 55 inches must be accompanied by an adult while on the ice.
Summit Park
The under-the-radar ice rink is open through Jan. 5th with varying hours. The ice rink is open to all ages. Admission into the rink is $6 ($5/person for groups of 3 or more), and kids 3 and under are free. Admission includes skate rental. All restaurants will be open during their respective hours, and Nanny Belles will have an outdoor cart selling snacks, drinks, hand warmers, gloves and more.
Now that you have the best places to skate, do you have your skating essentials? If your child is a beginner, they may want to wear snow pants – so their clothes don’t get wet when they fall.
