Cincinnati Ballet’s The Nutcracker is BACK!

The magic of Cincinnati Ballet’s The Nutcracker is back in all its pre-pandemic glory. Enjoy your favorite family tradition — with lively choreography, beautiful sets and costumes, and Tchaikovsky’s familiar score – at Music Hall December 16 – 26. “We are absolutely thrilled to be back in the theater to share this amazing story with our community once again!” said Cincinnati Ballet Artistic Director Victoria Morgan. Dozens of local children join Cincinnati Ballet onstage for these holiday performances.

When Clara receives a nutcracker on Christmas Eve, her dreams take her on a fun adventure. Follow Clara and her Nutcracker Prince to the wondrous Land of Sweets, where a fantastic cast of characters awaits. Meet the Snow Queen and King, Sugar Plum Fairy and Cavalier, mischievous mice, brave toy soldiers, chicks, and even Clara’s friend Minnie the PoodleThis production has such a wonderful sense of humor,” said Morgan, who is in her 25th and final season. “Sometimes, I think people think ballet and they immediately think it’s esoteric and highbrow, but it can be so many things, it can be joyous and silly. We have a growing Christmas tree, hip hop mice, and all the wonderful moments from the classic story.”

Tickets start at $29. For more information, visit cballet.org.
