Just for Preschoolers: Taft Jr.

The Taft Museum of Art is excited to introduce a new program just for preschoolers: Taft Jr. Designed for kids aged 3-5 years (and their caregivers), Taft Jr. will allow preschoolers to have fun learning about and making art with their favorite adults while absorbing good museum manners.

Each program will feature a story time, a close-up encounter with a piece of art, and a craft.

The program kicks off October 6 with Colors All Around Us. From 11 a.m.-12 p.m., kids can learn how colors mix together to make new hues — then put theory to practice by making their own colorful creation! Afterwards, families can explore the Taft to see how many different colors they can find.

This program is free for Taft members. For non-members, adults are $10 (includes Museum admission) and children are free. Definitely check out October’s program — the next Taft Jr. class won’t be until after the holidays, in February!

Can’t make it to the October 6 class? Check out a Third Sunday Funday event instead!
