Drowning is the leading cause of death in young children, but swim lessons reduce that risk by 88%. Our Aqua-Tots Swim Journey consists of 8 Levels of comprehensive curriculum that is tried, true and trusted all over the world to teach children of 4 months to 12 years how to swim. We provide over 5 million swim lessons per year worldwide!
Did you know participating in year-round swim lessons is the most effective way for your child to become a safe and confident swimmer, as consistency helps children retain more knowledge for longer periods of time? Swimming occasionally throughout the year can create gaps in swimming skills and may cause them to have to relearn those skills upon returning to swim lessons instead of immediately jumping into new skills. Water is everywhere; however, it is especially present this time of year with lake season upon us and summer around the corner. May is National Water Safety Month, and there is no better time for the children of our community to learn the most important water safety basics!
With 40+ hours of in-classroom and in-water training, our friendly AT-WSI Certified Swim Instructors are ready to welcome your swimmer into the pool. At Aqua-Tots, we believe there is always time to learn how to swim – at any age, in any season. Individuals 13+ can become safe and confident swimmers too, with the same valuable swimming strokes and breathing techniques that we teach all our swimmers. Additionally, as we are midway through Autism Awareness Month, we are excited to highlight our Special Needs Aquatic Program, or S.N.A.P. S.N.A.P. is designed to create lessons tailored to each child’s special needs and abilities. Swimming is an effective means of increasing motor function, developing safety skills, and comfort around the water. We want to help students of all abilities develop a life-long love for water.
