Smale Riverfront Park is easily one of the most family friendly spots in town, boasting an interactive splash park, adventure playground, flying pig, large-than-life foot piano and even a carousel! Naturally, this Cincinnati Park is the perfect place for Thursday’s Kids Day.
Smale Kids Day features fun entertainment for kids, including interactive dance with Pones Inc., a magic show by the Cincinnati Circus and puppetry by the Wump Mucket Puppets. There will also be face painting, balloon art, lawn games and lots of kid friendly activities! And it’s all free.
This free event happens Thursday, July 7 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Smale Riverfront Park.
With July being the hottest month in Cincy, we recommend making a day at Smale — packing a picnic, cooling off in the fountains and then taking a ride (or two!) on Carol Ann’s Carousel (in fact, July 7 is also Family Fun Night at Carol Ann’s from 5-8 p.m.).
