Social Distancing Easter Egg Hunt

Greene County Parks & TrailsĀ has developed a free, fun and educational series for preschoolers in the community called Wiggle Worms! Each month they have been offering a different theme with all activities designed to boost the developing minds of the little ones.
Due to COVID-19 social distancing restrictions, they have restructured their previously planned Easter Eggstravaganza into a virtual event set for April 9th at 10am. The team posted the following details on Facebook:Ā

We miss our Wiggle Worms and we were so looking forward our first ever Easter Egg Hunt! Because of the restrictions in place, we are still going to bring it to you, virtually, with social distancing in effect on aĀ Facebook Live Event!

Join Robin and Ashlee as they take you through a storybook trail, along with our Wildlife Sanctuary friends, at a park that not many people have seen. Throughout the storybook trail, you will need to look for the hidden eggs, high and low, and keep track of how many you find! Keep your eyes open, some could be a little tricky. At the end of the story, simply post how many eggs you found in the comments of the live feed. Prizes will be awarded to those that get the number correct! This is for our 2-5 year olds and each Wiggle Worm gets one guess for a chance at prizes.

So get your special friend (if you made one with us) and watch our animal ambassadors Thursday at 10 am for our social distancing Easter Egg Hunt!

This event will be cancelled if the weather is inclement. If a cell signal isnā€™t available at the park, we will videotape the trail and post it at 10 am.
