Easter Egg Hunts Main Text smallIt’s hard to believe, but Easter is at the end of the month! (Didn’t I just help my preschooler write his name on 18 Valentines?)

Easter comes “early” this year, happening Sunday, March 27, to be exact. Which means that the next several weekends are sure to be packed with Easter egg hunts, visits with The Bunny and all sorts of other spring-themed events!

We scoured the Internet for all the noteworthy Easter events happening around Cincinnati this month*. Without further ado, we present our official 2016 Cincinnati Easter Egg Hunt Guide!

Join Orienteering Cincinnati, Inc. to learn this fun sport. At least 4 courses from beginner through advanced difficulty will be offered. Beginner course have baskets of plastic Easter eggs at each checkpoint. Children collect the plastic eggs and exchange them for candy or toys at the finish. Kid’s Egg Trail is only $3/child. $7 for OCIN members, $10 for non-members, $2 discount if you have your own SI timing card, Free for TROL (Tri-State Regional Orienteering League) Season Pass holders. MetroParks of Butler County vehicle permit is required and will be available at event.

Easter Egg Extravaganza

Join the Fairfield Parks & Recreation Department for the annual Easter Egg Extravaganza at Harbin Park. Visits with the Easter Bunny will be available beginning at 10:30 a.m. and last until the egg hunt, which will take place promptly at 11:00 a.m., and then again following the hunt. There will also be a jellybean-guessing contest, children’s crafts and plenty of prizes. Age group hunts are offered for Fairfield children 3 and under, 4 & 5 year olds, and 6 to 8 year olds.

Celebrate the arrival of Spring with Mr. E. Bunny at Voice of America MetroPark at the beautiful Ronald Reagan Lodge. The fee includes a yummy buffet, crafts, activities and a visit with Mr. Bunny. The 16th annual running of the Easter Bunny Express will depart from Connersville Grand Central Station and make 4 round trips to the Easter Bunny Patch 2 miles away. Don’t forget your Basket! Come and meet the Easter Bunny and hunt for his Golden Egg. The egg hunt is open to ages 8 and under. Reservations are recommended. Prices are $10.00/person 2 and up.
