8 Great Fall Festivals this Weekend in Cincinnati

Fall is here, there’s a chill to the air (well, there will be next week!) — and festival season is in full swing! This weekend is full of fall fun, complete with pumpkins, corn mazes, hayrides, caramel apples and bluegrass music. So load up the family and enjoy a weekend of autumn activities in Cincy.

Here are 8 great fall festivals this weekend in Cincinnati:

Fall Fun at the Manatee
Fri., Sept. 22 from 4:30-5:30 p.m.
There’s so much to love about Fall: the colorful leaves, the snuggly sweaters, pumpkins and squash, apple cider…. Celebrate the first day of Fall at blue manatee with stories, a great art project, and a snack! $6 per child Ages 3 and up (some parental help will be needed with art activity). Pre-registration is required, as space is limited.

Autumn Fun at Carol Ann’s Carousel
Fri., Sept. 22 from 11 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Leaves changing colors of persimmon, crimson, and brown falling all around us; it’s Fall! Come whirl with us inside Carol Ann’s Carousel for fall fun on September 22. Enjoy fun fall leaf crafts along with entering for your chance to win Parks goodies. We hope you don’t have to ‘leaf’ soon, and will whirl with us!

Bluegrass for Babies
Sat., Sept. 23 from 3-9 p.m. at Eden Park’s Seasongood Pavilion
The Healthy Roots Foundation is proud to announce that on Saturday, September 23, Bluegrass for Babies is going back to its roots at Seasongood Pavilion in Eden Park for the 9th annual concert benefitting Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. The concert, which runs from 3-9 p.m., features music from top bluegrass bands, family-friendly activities, local concessions, and much more (including a booth by yours truly!).

Shaw Farms Fall Festival
Weekends through Oct. 29
Weekends at Shaw Farms provide an exciting opportunity for terrific family memories, photo ops, and, of course, some awesome, farm-grade adventures. Take the family on a ride around our scenic farm property in one of our traditional tractor hayrides or climb into our nostalgic horse-drawn wagons (available weekends only). Free admission; some activities require a small fee.

Fall on the Farm at Blooms & Berries (pictured)
Daily through Oct. 31
Fall on the Farm at Blooms & Berries features a 7-acre corn maze, straw maze, farm animals, a huge pumpkin patch, cow train, delicious refreshments and much more!

Fire Up the Night
Sat., Sept. 23 at Coney Island
Immerse yourself in the culture of competitors from around the world displaying their spectacular firework shows. You will be amazed as teams light up the sky with dazzling displays, sound, color and music to see who will win best firework display. End the night with a stunning finale by Rozzi’s Famous Fireworks over the banks of Lake Como. Admission is $25.00 per car at gate on on-line. Admission includes parking, Coney’s fun rides, entry to an incredible “empty-pool” party and live stage entertainment. Gates open at 4 p.m., fireworks start at 8 p.m.

Country Pumpkins Fall Festival
Daily through Oct. 31
Experience fall in the country on a 250 acre dairy farm! Hayrides, U-Pick Pumpkins, Barrel Train Rides, 4 Acre Corn Maze, Corn Boxes, Farm Animals, Kiddie Corn Maze, Hay Pyramid, play area, concessions, pumpkins, gourds, squash, mums, straw bales, corn stalks and more! Free admission and free parking.

Great Outdoor Weekend
Sat., Sept. 23 and Sun., Sept. 24 at various locations throughout Cincinnati
This is a weekend celebrating the Great Outdoors – Great Outdoor Weekend presents opportunities for children and adults to sample the best outdoor recreation and nature awareness programs available in Greater Cincinnati region. Each fall there are over 100 events available — all are free and open to the public!
