Great Parks is bringing back outdoor wintertime fun with Holidays on the Farm at Parky’s Farm, opening for the season on Friday, November 24.
This year’s event will feature even more lights, Santa’s reindeer, a merry beer garden, food trucks, wagon rides, entertainment, and for the first time, guests will be able to play the fun wintertime sport of curling.
Stroll down a well-lit, festive trail of vibrant pink, purple and blue trees before a stroller-friendly walk through the woods. Iridescent snowmen and reindeer placed throughout the woods bring joy while soft Christmas tunes play in the background. Families who could use a sensory stop are welcomed into a calming tent along the trail.
Unlimited rides on the resident ponies are a highlight for children eager to experience the farm! After a couple laps, children can visit with Santa next door before stopping for a free craft and saying hi to Santa’s two reindeer. Children can pet and interact with the barn animals including Pumpkin the mini horse, goats, llamas and more furry friends!
Catch a holiday movie like Elf on the big screen while warming up at several heaters and fire pits. Children can play a round or two of snowball toss while waiting for the covered hayride to make its rounds. The hayride trail is impressive and full of gorgeous colors, you might even recognize a display or two from traditions of the past.
From roaming winter princesses, creamy hot cocoa, Santa scavenger hunt with prizes and authentic reindeer pelts and antlers to explore, Holidays on the Farm
is a perfect no-stress event that Cincinnati families will come to love!
