ArtsConnect generates exciting community events and unique art experiences through classroom instruction, camps and hands-on workshops. In partnership with Springfield Township, ArtsConnect operates the community arts center, where it hosts programs in pottery, drawing, painting, woodworking, ceramics, music instruction and more. The center has a fully equipped woodshop, pottery studio with eight wheels, outdoor patio, house blend coffee, four additional classrooms and a mobile cooking cart. ArtsConnect signature community events include outdoor concerts, puppet shows, art shows, dances, theater productions, Touch a Truck and theater experiences.
Located in scenic Eden Park, the Cincinnati Art Museum features an unparalleled art collection of more than 65,000 works spanning 6,000 years. In addition to displaying its own broad collection, the Art Museum also hosts several national and international traveling exhibitions each year. Visitors can enjoy the exhibitions or participate in the Art Museum’s wide range of art-related programs, activities and special events. Plus, the Rosenthal Education Center is a space for families to discover the Art Museum’s collection in a fun, immersive, hands-on, and safe manner (open during regular Art Museum hours). The Duke Energy Children’s Museum is consistently ranked in the top 10 children’s museums in the U.S. and the exhibits encourage kids to climb, crawl, explore and learn about themselves and the world around them. Then, walk through a glacier and step back 19,000 years into the Ice Age in the Museum of Natural History & Science and learn about Cincinnati’s past and early life in Ohio in the Cincinnati History Museum. Group activities are also available for all ages, such as Scout Programs, Day Camps, Overnights, Sprouts Institute, Bright Ideas and Explorers University. Our programming is multi-diciplinary (like us), and focuses on everything from art and culture to science, history and technology.

FREE Family Fundays celebrate the museum’s newest special exhibitions with free admission, art-marking, music and more. Join Create & Plays on the Third Wednesday of each month to explore the galleries through guided activities and interactive games followed by a chance to get creative in the art studio! The museum also offers Sensory Explorations every second Sunday. Use senses like touch and hearing to experience the museum’s collection and gallery spaces with tools like 3-D printed reproductions, fabric samples, and soundscapes.

In the heart of downtown Cincinnati’s restaurant and theater district for 27 years, the Cincinnati Arts Association’s Weston Art Gallery is acclaimed for its support of emerging and professional artists working in all media, locally and throughout the region.
With galleries on two levels and 3,500 square feet of exhibition space, the Weston offers one-on-one assistance and support to artists to showcase their work in museum-quality environs through a diverse slate of exhibitions.
Families Create! is a popular series of workshops designed to introduce art techniques and concepts to children ages 5–10 years and their families. Participants get to meet the exhibiting artists and explore the world of art through gallery talks, tours, hands-on activities, and art projects.
