Cincinnati may not seem like the greenest city, but we’ve come a long way in recent years:
1. Hybrid Metro Buses
2. A brand-new, soon-to-debut Streetcar system
3. An award-winning vegan general store
4. New bike lanes for two-wheeled commuters, and
5. Two expansive, popular, high-profile metro park systems.
We also take Earth Day seriously, as evidenced by the myriad activities, events and happenings honoring Mother Nature. So teach your kids about what it means to be a steward of the Earth — it might be one the most important lessons they learn!
