This fall, Cincinnati Ballet will present an unforgettable fusion of classical ballet and Broadway glamour in Septime Webre’s The Great Gatsby — making its North American premiere November 7–15, 2025, at the Aronoff Center for the Arts.
Just in time for the 100th anniversary of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s iconic novel, this lavish production reimagines the Roaring Twenties with a dazzling mix of live music, dance, and drama. Audiences will step into a world of jazz, luxury, and longing as Webre’s choreography captures the decadence and heartbreak of Fitzgerald’s classic story.

To celebrate the milestone, Cincinnati Ballet will be joined on stage by an impressive lineup of guest artists, including local jazz singer Mandy Gaines, actor and narrator Wesley Carman, and two dynamic tap dancers. A live jazz band — Billy Novick’s Blue Syncopators from Boston — will set the mood with swinging rhythms straight from Gatsby’s era.
This electrifying collaboration between ballet, jazz, and theater promises a performance unlike any other — a glittering tribute to an American masterpiece that continues to inspire a century later.
Performances: November 7–15, 2025
Location: Aronoff Center for the Arts, Cincinnati, Ohio
