Cincinnati Homeschool Convention at Duke Energy Center April 4-6, 2024

Education has seen quite a bit of changes over the past few years, including many parents exploring the idea of home education. Different from virtual learning, home schooling notifies school districts that students will be receiving an education from home.

Whether that home education is from parents, learning facilities or co-ops, the Great Homeschool Convention comes to town to help guide parents through the process. The convention takes place over a three day weekend in downtown Cincinnati.

Speakers, workshops, events and exhibitors will take over Duke Energy Center from April 4-6, 2024. The yearly convention highlights Homeschool 101, special needs and gifted children, classical homeschooling, Charlotte Mason method, college preparedness, personalized advice for moms AND dads and so much more.

The convention kicks off with How to Start Homeschooling Off on the Right Foot which focuses on giving parents the confidence they need to encourage the love of learning to their kiddos through homeschooling. Feeling alone in homeschooling? Find contentment as speakers remind you that you CAN do this and you’re not alone. The encouragement from fellow parents is unmatched.

Bring your kiddos! The Children’s Convention runs parallel with the Great Homeschool Convention, as Giant Cow Children’s Ministries is back! VBS friendly entertainment is available in a highly secured, high energy series. The kids will have a ton of fun singing, dancing and learning while parents explore the bigger convention.

Pre-registration is required for Giant Cow Ministries and is separate from the Great Homeschool Convention registration. Giant Cow volunteers are thoroughly screened and processed before the event. For free admission, consider volunteering with the ministries!

The exhibitor floor is full of excellent curriculums for purchase. Whether you’re looking for foreign language learning, music, strategy or creative writing, hundreds of curriculum centered booths are ready to serve. Can’t attend the entire convention? Thursday evening free shopping is available from 5-8pm, receive a wristband and a shopping guide at the door to access the exhibit hall.

The Great Homeschool Convention aims to be family friendly with fun entertainment! Tickets are on sale now for Cincinnati’s convention. The events kick off Thursday from 1:30p-8p, Friday 8a-8p and Saturday 8a-6p. See the full schedule here.
