With the holiday season beginning earlier and earlier each year, Thanksgiving often gets lost in the shuffle. Girls on the Run of Greater Cincinnati 5K
Spend your Saturday morning running through downtown Cincinnati with an organization that encourages health among young girls. The race starts at 10 am at Sawyer Point and registration is open to the public. There are also volunteer opportunities available if you’d like to help out!
Get in the holiday spirit with a festive run through picturesque Sharon Woods. This 5K run/walk begins at 5 pm and registration is happening now up until the start of the race. (Register early for better rates!) The last mile of the race takes you through the beautiful Holiday in Lights display at dusk and you can come dressed in holiday costume for a chance at a prize!

Western & Southern Thanksgiving Day 10K Run & Walk
Get the entire family involved with this longstanding Cincinnati tradition. Now in its 112th year, the annual Thanksgiving Day 10K Run and Walk is the perfect way to start your holiday.
Eastern Cincinnati Young Life Gobble Gobble 5K Run/Walk
The 20th annual Gobble Gobble 5K is a beloved Eastside tradition. This fun race takes place at beautiful Swaim Park in Montgomery on the morning of Thanksgiving at 9 am, with a FREE Kids Fun Run at 8:45 am. The event benefits Young Life of Eastern Cincinnati and it’s a great way to start the day as a family!
Northern Kentucky can get in on the fun with this 5K through beautiful England-Idlewild Park in Burlington. All race proceeds will go to the Burlington Student Mission Projects helping to serve local families — participants are asked to donate one or more canned or non-perishable food items for Saving Grace Food Pantry. The race begins at 9 am with free and easy parking and the best part about this race? The winners get a turkey!
The Second Annual Thornwilde Turkey Trot 5k race, starts at 9:00 AM! Run through the beautiful Thornwilde and Treetops neighborhoods in Hebron, KY. Proceeds from this year’s event will go to the Snow Bunny Baby Project to help supply basic needs to families with babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Units in local Ohio & Kentucky hospitals at Christmas.

Cincinnati Hungry Turkey Half Marathon & 5K
Start a new tradition with the Hungry Turkey Half Marathon and 5K at Otto Armleder Memorial Park. The race takes place the Saturday after Thanksgiving and begins at 8:30 am. Every finisher receives a medal and there will be delicious Holtman’s Donuts at the finish line, making this race the perfect way to cap off a great holiday weekend!
