The Cincinnati Zoo has been making some major improvements to our already incredible zoo grounds! One of those robust remodels includes moving the infamous Zoo carousel to Swan Lake.
The newly placed Zoo carousel is open for riders now!
Gold and Platinum members receive free rides on the carousel, standard members and daily-ticketed guests can purchase a single ride for $4 or an all-day ride package for $8. Guests with a valid SNAP benefit card and matching ID can purchase a single ride for $1 or all-day ride package for $4.
A new home for the Cincinnati Zoo Carousel
The beloved carousel is now an outstanding focal feature of the Zoo’s Swan Lake. Located around the corner from Gibbon Island and the Reptile House, guests can walk all the way around the carousel for gorgeous views of the lake and of the ride itself. Benches are located around the Cincinnati Zoo carousel for a quick break before perusing the Zoo.
As part of their More Home to Roam efforts, the Zoo has seen its fair share of improvements including expanding the elephant yard, kangaroo walkabout, little blue penguin underwater viewing, adventure ropes course, multiple yards for rhinos, new parking space, family style restrooms, extra ticketing windows and more!
