At Snapology, we understand that children are meant to learn through play. When children are actively engaged in hands-on, interactive learning activities, their creativity flourishes and they show a greater interest in school. Snapology helps your child develop a thirst for knowledge by engaging children ages 3-14 using LEGO® bricks, K’Nex and technology. While the kids are having fun, we sneak in the educational concepts. In most cases, kids don’t realize how much they are learning!

FREE Family Fundays celebrate the museum’s newest special exhibitions with free admission, art-marking, music and more. Join Create & Plays on the Third Wednesday of each month to explore the galleries through guided activities and interactive games followed by a chance to get creative in the art studio! The museum also offers Sensory Explorations every second Sunday. Use senses like touch and hearing to experience the museum’s collection and gallery spaces with tools like 3-D printed reproductions, fabric samples, and soundscapes.
TCT Academy offers performing arts instruction from a professional theatre company, introducing children to all elements of live theatre, incorporating educational aspects as well as important life skills and milestones. It isn’t just learning how to sing, dance and act… It’s about gaining confidence, learning life skills and keeping your children active. Bringing art to life for children and the young-at-heart through 3 key programs: MainStage, ArtReach and Learning the Craft.
Both MainStage (at the Taft) and ArtReach (touring) shows are accompanied by complimentary study guides. Each season's productions are intended to act as a bridge for local curriculums, giving schools access to high quality arts education as well as serving as a catalyst for integrating the arts with other subjects. ArtReach also features a WorkShop division which takes a teaching artist directly to classrooms and afterschool programs.
Our Learning the Craft classes offers various integrated arts sessions (8 or 12 weeks) for students of all abilities and ages.
The library offers preschool story times at branch locations all over town as well as activities you might not equate with the library experience – music, movement, Lego classes and many others. Check your local branch for more information!
