Bat Night for Families

Registration Requirements: Preregistration required.

Intended Audience: This experience is most suited for families with children 7 and up. Attendance with younger children is up to their adults’ discretion. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Program Description: Meet a live bat up close and personal as we explore these mysterious nocturnal flying mammals, why they’re protected, and how you can help them. We’ll then head out and use high-tech equipment to listen to bats as they search for food.

What to Expect: We’ll have a 30–45-minute bat talk followed by some bat-related activities before we head out on the trail to look for bats.

This program is entirely outdoors.
Program runs rain or shine.
Restrooms are available at the start and end of the program. Restrooms are not available on the trails.

Cost: Ticket fees include daily admission.
