Dining in the Dark

Cincinnati Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (CABVI) hosts its signature fundraising gala, Dining in the Dark, at the Hard Rock Casino Events Center in Cincinnati. This year’s Star Wars–themed event, “May the Force Be With You,” invites guests to experience a sit-down dinner while blindfolded and take part in immersive challenges that provide insight into the everyday experiences of people with vision loss. The ninth annual event also includes a silent auction featuring experiential packages, plus raffles, dancing, and a Star Wars costume contest. All proceeds benefit CABVI’s programs and services that help individuals who are blind or visually impaired live independently. Ticket sales live October 1, 2025; dinner, beer, wine and soft drinks included in ticket price; cash bar available. $175 per person; $1,500 for a table of 10.
