Finding Frogs and Salamanders

In early spring, when the weather is just right, salamanders and frogs move to ponds and vernal pools to breed. Discover what to look and listen for, then we’ll search for these amphibian creatures! This program is entirely outdoors. Preregistration required. Program runs rain or shine.

Note: Please arrive promptly to start at 8 pm for the start of our program. Our gatehouse will close at 8:15 pm

What to Bring/ Wear: Please bring a flashlight. (It is best to have a flashlight for every member of your party.) Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear for walking on trails; be prepared for possibly muddy trail conditions.

Where to Meet: Registered participants will meet at the pavilion outside the PlayScape at our Rowe Woods location. (4949 Tealtown Road, Milford, OH 45150)

Cost: Ticket fees include daily admission.
