Full Moon Walks at Long Branch Farm and Trails

Registration Requirements: Preregistration required.

Recommended Audience: This program is designed for adults and children 12 . Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Program Description: Witness the night’s magic transform the trails as we marvel at the full moon and reveal natural history happenings on this quiet, guided hike. Full Moon Walks provide rare opportunities to hike Cincinnati Nature Center trails when we’re normally closed.

While each Full Moon Walk varies, we generally stop periodically for natural history moments, special readings, or simply to admire the shadows cast by the full moon. As it’s nighttime, the pace is slower. Leaders adjust the walking speed based on their group.

What to Expect: On a Full Moon Walk, you’ll take a 1-to-1.5-mile leisurely walk on a trail.

We avoid steps and stream crossings for safety.
The trails may be muddy during wetter times of the year, but we’ll do our best to keep you dry.
