Hootin' in the Holler

Registration Requirements: Preregistration required.

Intended Audience: This challenging hike is recommended for adults or children at least ages 10 and older with an adult. Participants for this hike must have the ability to stand still and be super quiet.

Program Description: Whoooo’s hootin’ tonight? Learn the different species of owls in our area and take a hike to visit our neighbors down in the holler. RAPTOR Inc. will provide us with a behind-the-scenes tour of their beautiful home for birds of prey. We’ll take a challenging night hike and learn to “call” our feathered friends. It’ll be a hoot!

What to Expect: This exclusive after-hours experience at RAPTOR Inc. will involve a hike which includes hills and steps. This will be a fun, but challenging night hike.

Flashlights are discouraged.
This program is entirely outdoors.
Restrooms are available only at the start and end of the program, as we will be out on the trails during the program.
Program runs rain or shine.
What to Wear: Please dress appropriately for the weather with footwear suitable for hiking.

Note: A portion of the ticket fees will be used to support wildlife rehabilitation at RAPTOR Inc.

Where to Meet: Registered participants will meet at the map kiosk near the Groesbeck parking lot at our Rowe Woods location. (4949 Tealtown Road, Milford, OH 45150)

Cost: Ticket fees include daily admission.
