Nestled along the scenic banks of the Little Miami River in Loveland, Ohio, the Historic Loveland Castle & Museum—also known as Château Laroche—continues to captivate visitors with its rich history and unique architecture.
This full-scale medieval-style castle was meticulously constructed by World War I veteran and Boy Scout leader Harry D. Andrews, who began building it in 1929 using stones from the river and hand-molded bricks made from cement and milk cartons. Over 50 years, Andrews single-handedly brought his vision to life, creating a lasting tribute to the ideals of knighthood and chivalry.
