Fairy Tale Festival at Highfield Discovery Garden

Great Parks is bringing fairy tale characters and magical creatures to the trees and flowers of Glenwood Gardens with the Fairy Tale Festival, at the Highfield Discovery Garden from 11a-3p on Saturday, July 29.

Children will create treasured memories when they meet their favorite fairy tale characters in person. The day will feature Madcap Puppet shows, a fairy trading post, magical crafts, food trucks and vendors. Also included will be a bounce house, inflatable maze and Great Parks interpreters who will be introducing animal ambassadors to festival guests.

Under its 25-foot-tall Discovery Tree, the Highfield Discovery Garden is the picture-perfect setting for the Fairy Tale Festival. The area features seven smaller gardens including a wizard’s garden, trolley garden, butterfly garden and other areas that bring together imagination and the natural world in a fun, engaging environment.

Cost of admission to the Fairy Tale Festival is $10 per person. After June 30, the price goes up to $12 per person. All tickets will include admission to Highfield Discovery Garden. Highfield Discovery Garden passholders can purchase discounted event tickets at the gate.

The 12-acre Highfield Discovery Garden at Glenwood Gardens is a delight for any age. It is designed to encourage guests to explore the natural world in a fun, engaging environment. Along with the 25-foot Discovery Tree, there are seven smaller gardens to explore within Highfield Discovery Garden:
