If you’re looking for a fun, affordable place to enjoy a few hours of outdoor Fall Farm Family Fun, Burwinkel Farms in Ross, Ohio, is the perfect spot! We feature three traditional mazes (two corn mazes and one skid maze), each filled with twists and turns that will have your kids laughing as they hit dead ends and race off in the other direction. Plus, for an added challenge, you can search for four scavenger hunt items hidden in each maze.
Burwinkel Farms also offers a hayride through the sunflower fields, with a mission to spot 14 themed scarecrows along the way. The hayride leads to a ‘pick your own’ pumpkin patch and a blooming sunflower field, where each guest can take home a pie pumpkin and a sunflower! If you’d rather skip the hayride, we offer a walking option (1-mile round trip) that includes all the activities, plus a small pumpkin and sunflower (when in bloom). We recommend bringing wagons or strollers for the kiddos if you choose to walk.
Other activities include visiting our friendly donkey and goat, following the Halloween Scavenger Hunt, shooting hoops, and trying out the ‘Red, White, and Blue’ maze. Plan to spend at least a couple of hours soaking up the fun, with plenty of photo ops you won’t want to miss! Before you go, pick up some of our delicious homegrown apples and apple cider. Light snacks, including homemade caramel apples, are also available for purchase. Hayrides run from 10 am to 6 pm on weekends (weather permitting), and we welcome weekday hayride groups of 10 or more with advance scheduling.

Cost: The hayride option is $12 per person, and the walking option is $8 per person. Both options include all activities, a small pumpkin, and a sunflower (when in bloom). Children 24 months and under are free.
