Great Parks Celebrates the Beechmont Bridge Connector with Go Big Day

The Beechmont Bridge Connector project has Cincinnatians excited for the brand new trail connecting safely to neighboring trail systems. To celebrate, Great Parks of Hamilton County is hosting Go Big Day, a free event for all.

Go Big Day | Beechmont Bridge Connector

WHAT:

Go Big Day is the public celebration for the completion of the Beechmont Bridge Connector. Admission is free.

WHERE:

Otto Armleder Memorial Park, 5057 Wooster Pike.

On wheels or on foot, trail users at Go Big Day will be among the first in the community to use the Beechmont Bridge trail, crossing safely and without interruption between the neighboring trail systems linked by the project.

WHEN:

11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, October 2.

FEATURES:

Go Big Day will include:

  • Go Big 5K presented by Fleet Feet x Hoka (starting at 10 a.m.)
  • Live music from Dan Varner Band and That’s What She Said
  • Armleder Park trail hikes
  • E-bike rides with Montgomery Cyclery
  • Stream animal demonstrations from Great Parks Interpreters
  • Food trucks and beverages
  • Craft beer from Fifty West Brewing and Big Ash Brewing
  • Dog activities in the 10-acre Armleder Dog Park
