How to celebrate Easter and support local businesses during coronavirus

This Easter falls on April 12 — smack in the middle of Ohio’s month-long ‘Stay at Home’ order.

But we don’t have to let social distancing and stay-at-home orders bring our spirits down! Here’s our guide on how to celebrate Easter and support local businesses during coronavirus:

Toys and Books

Joseph-Beth Booksellers

Click over to JB’s Easter page and fill your shopping cart with Easter goodies! The kind staff Easter bunny helpers at Joseph-Beth will put everything together and deliver it right to your door. {If you’re looking for different items, simply call 513-396-8960 and they’ll help you customize your order.}

Blue Manatee Literacy Project

For the softest stuffed animals and sweetest children’s books, look no further than Blue Manatee. They offer curbside delivery, and this month, in honor of their birthday, BMLP is hoping to raise $5,000 to go directly to our childhood literacy program — putting books in the hands of children who need them most! Fill your Easter baskets while supporting one of the best causes in town.

King Arthur’s Court Toys

Include some outdoor toys in the kids’ Easter baskets from King Arthur’s Court Toys. They’ve a particularly amazing selection of kites, and will deliver straight to your door — for free!

Cincy Shirts

Tee titan Cincy shirts has a variety of spring-themed shirts perfect for kids — and many go to support local causes, too! Little animal lovers will go gaga for the Zoo Babies tee, while the Strength in Unity top makes a statement *and* supports local COVID-19 causes.

Treats

Aglamesis Bros

Is it even Easter in Cincy if don’t have an opera cream egg in your basket? Call Aglamesis and they’ll walk you through the perfect box of goodies for your crew. They’ll ship your Easter favorites straight to your door.

Good Pie Y’all

Easter brunch, done and done. Cowboy Quiche? Blueberry French Toast Casserole? Or your favorite pies, like Heather’s famous White Chocolate Raspberry Pie (because, anything with fruit totally counts as breakfast) — Good Pie Y’all has everything you need for a next-level, homemade Easter brunch you didn’t even have to make yourself.

Graeter’s

Order customized Easter baskets featuring a variety of sweets and chocolates from this local favorite. They even offer curbside pickup at many locations.

Tres Belle Cakes

Mark this down as “most festive” — at Tres Belles, get curbside pick up c/o the Easter Bunny himself! Catch Mr. E Bunny this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 2-3 pm. On Saturday, he will be doing car deliveries from 3-4 pm. These are PRE-ORDER ONLY. Email your pick up day and what you would like to [email protected]. They will send you an invoice so you can pre-pay before you arrive. Orders must be received by 10 am the day of pick up. Full menu here.

Easter is a little different this year, but these locally owned businesses are making it fun and easy to celebrate!
