Thousands of Glass Pumpkins

At the heart of the festival is a dazzling pumpkin patch filled with thousands of blown glass pumpkins, each handcrafted with vivid colors, swirling patterns, and one-of-a-kind designs. These artistic creations showcase the craftsmanship of world-renowned glass artist Jack Pine and his team.

The Pumpkin of the Year

Each year, one masterpiece is unveiled as the Pumpkin of the Year. This coveted work of art is revealed in dramatic fashion, making it one of the most anticipated moments of the festival.

Live Glassblowing Demonstrations

Guests can watch glass take shape during live glassblowing demos, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the artistry that makes this festival so unique.

Artisan Market

Beyond pumpkins, the festival features a full artisan marketplace with more than 30 vendors selling handcrafted goods like jewelry, ceramics, woodwork, fiber art, and paintings.

The atmosphere is complete with live music from local performers and food trucks offering fall-inspired treats—pumpkin ice cream, smoked lasagna, brats, and mini-donuts among the favorites.

Giant Pumpkin Carving

Festival-goers can marvel at a 600-pound pumpkin carved live by nationally acclaimed artist Gus “Squashcarver” Smithhisler—another highlight that blends art with fall tradition.

Family-Friendly Fun

Children can enjoy face painting, hands-on craft stations, and mini pumpkin painting, making the Jack Pine Festival a true family experience.

VIP Preview Night: “One Wicked Night”

On September 18, 2025, the festival kicks off with an exclusive VIP event called One Wicked Night. Limited to 200 guests, this evening includes:

  • First access to the Pumpkin of the Year

  • Gourmet dinner and drink

  • Live glassblowing demonstration

  • Silent auction and prize giveaways

  • Weekend parking included

Proceeds benefit the Laurelville Food Pantry, making this an evening of art, food, and community impact.
