This Butler County gem is one of the best chocolate shops near Cincinnati and that’s not all they offer – this sweet shop features house-made caramels, fudges and ice creams that are life changing.
Karma in the Kitchen is located at 8779B Cincinnati Dayton Road in Old West Chester. Family-operated, Karma Decker is the inspiration (and name!) behind all of this sweetness. This chocolate entrepreneur started with an Etsy shop, and as her chocolates grew in popularity and with the encouragement of her family, she opened her chocolate shop. Lucky for us!
Chocolate is the star of the show at Karma In The Kitchen and it is some of the best — and most unique — you’ll ever try. I purchased some chocolate-dipped Oreos, solid chocolate frogs (Hey, Harry Potter fans!) and Storm Trooper/Lord Vader-themed chocolates. The fudge is also a must-try.
And for a healthy option, Karma in the Kitchen has created “Good Karma” — Keto-friendly, vegan truffles with tons of wonderful flavor. There truly is something for everyone at this chocolatier.
While Karma In The Kitchen is a candy and chocolate shop, it’s also known for its ice cream sundaes, chocolate-dipped bars and creative milkshakes. My daughter and I stopped in for House-Made Ice Cream Chocolate Dipped Bars last week. The delicious vanilla ice-cream bar was dipped in our choice of creamy milk or rich dark chocolate. Then toppings were added — I chose toffee and almonds while my daughter decided on crumbled Oreo cookis and peppermint sticks. Needless to say, the dessert was incredible. Smooth and creamy, sweet and salty are just a few words to describe the chocolate dipped bars. Next time, we are ordering the Road Construction Sundae (think extreme Rocky Road).
