Every year, thousands of families from the tri-state meet at the Ohio River for one final goodbye to summer. With an all day celebration planned, Western and Southern and WEBN are once again hosts to the epic party and fireworks show at 9p.
Celebrate Riverfest and Cincinnati’s farewell to summer with BB Riverboats! Come aboard for the best views in town of one of the Midwest’s largest fireworks displays. Enjoy a delicious dinner buffet, dessert, and a snack buffet for a grand finale to the fireworks.

The beginning of every month starts with a bang in downtown Dayton. First Friday is a free event held from 5 to 10 p.m. at several locations throughout downtown. This art hop features exhibit openings at the galleries, along with a variety of entertainment options, including street performances and roaming entertainers, arts demonstrations, live music, dining and shopping specials, and more. Dozens of locations participate in this event, which every month offers something new and surprising.

Lunken Airport’s Aviation Days are a tradition for aviation-loving families as the airport opens up for visitors to explore planes, talk to pilots, and take rides on helicopters!
9a-11a at Lake Isabella. Intended for children under 16 years of age, accompanied by an assisting adult, live bait is permitted. Prizes will be awarded in three age groups to the kid who weighs in a fish closest to the mystery fish weight. Any species of fish can be weighed. Trophies will be awarded to every kid who catches a fish.
With 36 water slides, two wave pools, lazy river, kids splash pad, and more, enjoy one final weekend in Soak City before they close for the season.
The Sunlite Water Adventure takes its last plunge after the Labor Day weekend. The pool, slides, obstacle course, mini golf and action alley officially close for the season.
