Located at the Boone County Fairgrounds, this brilliant light display is run by a small business of four hard working Kentuckians. They installed all the lights themselves and are there to run the show each evening. Light Up the Fair has become an event that Northern Kentucky families really look forward to, as it has grown over the past five years.
Light Up the fair is a drive thru show, enjoy the sights from the comfort and warmth of your own vehicle. There are over one million lights to behold, covering a two mile path! This year, you can expect to see the usual display with a few new surprises throughout!
Dates and Hours
Light Up the Fair runs until December 31st, including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve. The show runs regardless of weather; rain, snow, or shine. The hours of this event are Sunday-Thursday 5:30 pm-9:00 pm and Friday-Saturday 5:30-10:00 pm.
Tickets
Tickets are $7 per person up to 1-3 people in a vehicle. For a car of 4-8 people, it is $25 per vehicle. These prices are for both weekday and weekend admission. Active Military and First Responders are always free! If you have a group of 9 or more people, please contact Light Up the Fair ahead of your visit and they will provide a group rate.
