Created in 1971 by Eric “Tip” Long with a few campsites and a small lake, Long’s Retreat Family Resort has now grown into one of the top tourist attractions in Southern Ohio. With over 400 acres, Long’s Retreat offers permanent camping, cabin rentals, swimming, go karts, water slides, carousel, arcade, mini golf, and more!

To stay overnight at Long’s Retreat, you must have a permanent camping spot or rent a cabin.
Camping Cabins
There are 13 camping cabins available to rent in three different sizes. Each includes running water and flush toilets. Two night minimums are required, prices include swimming for two adults and three children. Additional adults are $7/each and $2/each for kids. Guests must provide their own sleeping linens, towels, pillows, and toiletries.
Deluxe Units
3 different options will have you “camping” in style! The deluxe units all come with hot water, a/c and flush toilets. Choose from the two bedroom park model with loft, two bedroom cabin with loft or three bedroom ranch condo. Guests must provide their own sleeping linens, towels, pillows, and toiletries. Two night minimums are required, prices include swimming for two adults and three children.
Rental Trailers
Long’s Retreat has three 2021 Coachmen Catalina trailers for rent, located on a full hookup (water, electric & sewer) campsite with deck, roof, picnic table and fire ring. Two night minimums are required, prices include swimming for two adults and three children.
Vacation Package
Can be added to any rented cabin or trailer
Check-in Sunday and check out Friday, and enjoy a 5-day activity package in addition to your cabin rental *Wristband valid only Monday through Friday.
Prices, in addition to the nightly rental:
Family (2 adults & 3 children) – Add $150
Additional adult – Add $75
Additional child (4 years and older) – Add $40
Attractions included:
Swimming, Waterslides, Canoes/Paddle Boats, & Mini Golf
Not included:
Go Karts, Kiddie Area, Oasis, Train, Bounceables, and Carousel. Subject to change due to attractions.
Daily Recreation Passes
You don’t need to stay overnight to have a blast at Long’s Retreat! Pack up the car and head out east to spend the afternoon on the lake. Attractions are for both children & adults and include go-karts, bounce houses, beach swimming, water slides, carousel, miniature golf, kiddie train, canoe rental and Oasis dining area. Please note, Long’s Retreat is cash only.
