Macy’s Downtown Dazzle

Macy’s Downtown Dazzle is back this year with plenty of festive and FREE fun for the entire family!

If you’ve never been, Macy’s Downtown Dazzle is quite possibly the coolest Santa sighting in Cincy. During this epic event, the Man in Red becomes a real-life superhero, rappelling down the side of the Huntington Bank Center to the Fountain Place rooftop. This feat is then followed by a spectacular fireworks display courtesy of Rozzi’s.

This year’s Downtown Dazzle features four opportunities to see Santa in action: Nov. 30, Dec. 7, Dec. 14 and Dec. 21. This event starts at 5:30 pm with music and other festivities, with Santa rappelling promptly at 6:30 pm. 

While you’re downtown, be sure to visit the UC Health Ice Rink, presented by Fifth Third Bank from 10 am-10 pm and get a FREE photo with Santa at the Carew Tower. Stop by the letter writing station and drop your letter into the Macy’s “Believe” mailbox that goes straight to Santa at the North Pole. Dates and details for Santa at Carew Tower can be found here.

Macy’s Downtown Dazzle happens Nov. 30, Dec. 7, Dec. 14 and Dec. 21 on Fountain Square at the Corner of Fifth and Vine Streets. In addition to the Santa show, don’t miss the annual Light Up the Square Event on Nov. 30, which features live music, food trucks, the lighting of the Macy’s Tree and fireworks to officially kick off the holiday season in Cincinnati.
