If your family loves the kind of outing that feels a little magical (and a lot memorable), put Moonlight Menagerie on your spring calendar. This brand-new botanical exhibit transforms Krohn Conservatory into a luminous, after-dark-inspired garden—where night truly blossoms and every turn reveals something glowing, fluttering, and fascinating.
Running January 17, 2026 – April 19, 2026, Krohn Conservatory’s 2026 Spring Show invites visitors to take a “moonlight stroll” through a traditional moonlight garden, where white and silver flowers take center stage and the whole room feels like it’s lit by a soft, silvery shine.
What to Expect at Moonlight Menagerie
Moonlight Menagerie isn’t just beautiful—it’s packed with wonder and learning, too. As you explore, you’ll discover:
- A moonlight garden theme designed around plants that shine brightest in pale tones like white and silver
- A spotlight on Ohio’s nocturnal creatures, brought to life throughout the exhibit
- A sensory experience inspired by nighttime, including the idea of listening for nocturnal calls and a “nocturnal symphony” vibe
Fun facts and displays exploring bioluminescence and night-blooming flowers—proof that nighttime gardens can be just as vibrant as daytime ones
In other words: don’t sleep on this show. After sunset, every bloom tells a story—and every shadow might hold a surprising secret.
