This year’s milestone event will feature hundreds of adoptable dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens from dozens of animal shelters and rescue groups across the Tri-State. By bringing adoptable animals together under one roof, we make it easier than ever to find your perfect match.
My Furry Valentine is a family-friendly celebration, complete with a wide variety of vendors to shop and exciting raffle prize drawings every hour.
Every animal adopted from our Main Event will go home with a swag bag full of goodies for pets and their people, and adopters will be entered to win one of our special Adopter Raffle Baskets. Please note that for the safety and comfort of the animals and guests, owned pets are not permitted at the event.
Please join us and support the mission of “Adopt Don’t Shop.” Each year, approximately 6.3 million dogs and cats enter shelters and rescues across the United States. Nearly 4.1 millionfind loving homes through adoption — but sadly, around 607,000 still lose their lives in shelters annually. That’s roughly 1,660 animals per day who don’t make it out. The number of people opening their homes to shelter pets far outnumbers those animals lost — but unless more choose adoption over purchase, shelters remain overcrowded and many animals’ lives remain at risk.
By choosing to adopt rather than buy from a pet store, breeder, or online source, our community can significantly reduce shelter overcrowding and save countless animal lives. Together, we can create a future where every pet has the chance to go home.
