PNC Festival of Lights at the Cincinnati Zoo voted #1 in the country!

For a second year in a row, PNC Festival of Lights at the Cincinnati Zoo voted #1 in the country.

The 37th annual PNC Festival of Lights at the Cincinnati Zoo has been ranked #1 on the USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice list for the best zoo lights in the country.

A panel of experts partnered with USA Today’s 10Best editors to pick the initial 20 nominees, and the top 10 were determined by popular vote.

With 3 million LED lights and 27 larger-than-life animal lanterns, the PNC Festival of Lights is a  can’t-miss holiday tradition. Visitors can meet Mr. and Mrs. Claus, watch a spectacular lights show on Swan Lake, drool over a gingerbread village, munch on s’mores and ride the Toyland Express train.

Several other midwest zoos also made the prestigious list. The Toledo Zoo’s Lights Before Christmas came in second place, and Christmas at the Zoo in Indianapolis took the #6 spot.

The PNC Festival of Lights runs nightly through Jan. 4, 2020. Hours are 5-9 pm Sunday through Thursday and 5-10 pm Friday and Saturday. Find more information at the Zoo’s website — and be sure to check out these insider tips for maximizing your Festival of Lights experience!
