Dive Into Holiday Magic at Newport Aquarium
One of the region’s most beloved holiday traditions is back! Scuba Santa’s Water Wonderland returns to Newport Aquarium from November 28 through December 24, 2025, filling the underwater world with sparkling lights, festive music, cheerful elves and the most magical bubbles you’ve ever seen.
Kids can share their Christmas wishes directly with Scuba Santa—all while he swims underwater among sharks, rays, colorful fish and a friendly sea turtle. Thanks to a little holiday magic, Scuba Santa can hear every word! Families will also love watching him fill the theater with floating bubbles—each one said to carry a wish that comes true somewhere around the world.
Best of all, Scuba Santa’s Water Wonderland is included with general admission and Membership.
New for 2025: Meet the Roughtail Stingray
This year brings an exciting new highlight: Scuba Santa will be swimming alongside the aquarium’s NEW Roughtail Stingray. Measuring 5 feet across and over 9 feet long, this impressive stingray is easy to spot in the Surrounded by Sharks Exhibit and makes the experience even more unforgettable.
