Shakespeare comes to Great Parks with a free performance of “Twelfth Night,” one of Shakespeare’s greatest comedies, on Saturday, August 20, at Sharon Woods.
“Twelfth Night” is a romantic comedy that tells the story of the heroine, Viola, who matches wits with a variety of characters. The play features a shipwreck, love triangles and mistaken identities, a fun celebration that embraces the silliness of love. “Twelfth Night” is considered to be one of the greatest plays ever written. It is perfect for the entire family.
The production, from the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, will begin at 7 p.m. at Sharon Woods Cardinal Crest Meadow, 11450 Lebanon Rd. in Sharonville. Kid-friendly activities will be available prior to the show, and food and drinks will be available for purchase.
Cardinal Crest Meadow is an open, grass-covered area. Guests should bring a chair or blanket on which to enjoy the Shakespeare performance.
