Museum Day Live! – an annual day of free admission at select museums across country – will be celebrated on September 26th, thanks to Smithsonian Magazine. And even more: 14 different museums throughout Ohio are expected to participate.
What is Museum Day Live? For one day only, participating museums across the United States – with a wide range of diverse exhibitions – will channel the spirit of the Smithsonian Institution’s Washington DC-based facilities {which offer free admission everyday} and open their doors for FREE to those who download a Museum Day Live! ticket. Over 1,300 museums nationwide will participate in the 2015 Museum Day Live! program.
How do I get tickets? Tickets are free and will be available online beginning August 1. Keep in mind that one ticket is good for one person + one guest and restrictions note one ticket is permitted per household. Additional guests are required to pay full admission {prices dependent on museum}. Tickets can be printed or shown on a smartphone.
