Get ready for a season full of family fun at the Taft Museum of Art’s FREE Family Fundays! Join the museum for one Sunday or all of them—each includes a special day at the museum full of themed play, musical performances, art-making, and more to inspire young creators!
First up, explore the Taft’s newest exhibition, Sporting Fashion. Discover the vibrant history of women’s athletic fashion on October 15. Kids of all ages can enjoy an appearance from the Cincinnati Red’s mascot, Rosie Red, and more sporty features including hands-on fabric touch and feel activities and interactive tours. For the parents in the house, gameday continues with live streaming of the Bengals matchup against the Seahawks. Plus, make it a day full of experiences by enjoying the free Fall Jazz Series while the family is at the museum.
And there’s more…! Explore the Taft’s decked out halls and celebrate throughout the season for more FREE Family Fundays on December 3, 10, and 17. Get crafty by creating special holiday keepsakes including ornaments, gift bags, and cards. Each weekend also includes more interactive family tours in the galleries, food and beverages for purchase, and the free Holiday Music Series—sure to bring holiday cheer to all. Santa will also be making his debut on Sunday, December 17 for picture perfect memories.
