Step back in time at Stricker’s Grove, a family-owned amusement park in Hamilton County that has been bringing nostalgic fun to generations of families since 1924. Known as one of Ohio’s best hidden gems, this park offers everything from classic wooden roller coasters and a Ferris wheel to mini golf, cotton candy, and snow cones — all with an old-fashioned charm that’s hard to find today.
A Vintage Park with a Family Legacy
Stricker’s Grove began nearly a century ago on 55 acres in Mt. Healthy, where Henry Stricker planted apple trees and invited families to picnic in the groves. Over the years, the park added a dance hall, pony rides, and in 1954, its very first mechanical ride. In 1960, it moved to its current Hamilton location and remains family-operated, preserving that small-town, community feel.
How to Visit Stricker’s Grove
Because Stricker’s Grove is privately owned, it’s not open to the public every day — which makes visiting feel extra special.
