THEATRE CAMPS

Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park

Playhouse offers full day camps now located at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Middletown Arts Center and Run Jump-n-Play Mason. Day camps provide lessons in acting, improv and scenic design, while the three-week performance academy camp teaches students about the full production of plays.
Cincinnati Shakespeare Company

Located in the Gallagher Student Center Theatre at Xavier University, Shakespeare Camp is a great way for campers to learn and advance their theatrical studies. Divided into three camps based on grade level, each camp works on a different Shakespearian play. Auditions are required.
Clifton Performance Theatre

Campers will get an authentic theatre experience at Clifton Performance Theatre Summer Camp. Here, students work to perform classic musicals for their friends, family and the Clifton community. Camp runs from June through August, offering eight weekly sessions, each with a different musical performance.

Campers hoping to diversify their artistic skills can find a fun selection of weekly camps at ArtsConnect located in the Springfield Township Senior Center. Weekly sessions focus on different topics such as architecture, the sole design of a shoe and even authors and illustrators.
Cincinnati Art Museum

Designed for children ages 6-12, the Cincinnati Art Museum presents eight weeks of camp running from June through August. Campers will delve into creative art projects and games discovering a different theme each week, such as: “Welcome to the Jungle” or “Comic Creators.”

Kennedy Heights Art Center
