Calling all Cincinnati Parents from the ’80s and ’90s: the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are coming to COSI this fall!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Secrets of the Sewer opens Sept. 21 and runs through Jan. 5, 2020. This is one pizza STEM-powered exhibit you won’t want to miss!

Experience the museum exhibit featuring the four heroic ninjas-in-training — Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Leap to the rescue and learn teamwork, collaboration, and problem-solving as you work your way through puzzles, mazes and obstacles. Explore the sewer-like lair, where good guys win and bad guys lose! Since 1984, these four iconic brothers have rocked it with their talent and teamwork, inspiring generations. Now families can now join these pizza-eating, crime-fighting “Heroes in a Half Shell” to hone their ninja skills and problem-solving intellects while learning the secrets of the sewer!

Of course, COSI’s exhibits are always as educational as they are fun. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Secrets of the Sewer invites fans of all ages to explore their individual and group potential, taking on the villains of New York City for an action-packed adventure. Highlights include:

Common Area

Explore the lair’s common area and discover the individual skills each Turtle brings to the team such as leadership, creative problem-solving, speed and humor!

Underground Lair

Join the team and train alongside the Turtles and Master Splinter in their epic Underground Lair.

The Dojo and Splinter’s Room

In order to create a seamless ninja fighting team, Master Splinter has devoted many hours to training the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In the Dojo, Splinter and Raphael show visitors the value of hard work, practice and knowing your enemy.

Donatello’s Workshop and Lab

Donnie is the inventor of the group; his lab is the place to try your hand at creative problem solving, as well as learning from mistakes. Kids will also test their own reflexes, balance, and creative building skills in a variety of hands-on or full-body activities. Try their hands at creative problem-solving, as well as learning from mistakes in Donnie’s lab while strategizing through challenging puzzles and mazes.

Streets of NYC

Put their new skills into practice on the streets of NYC as they help the Turtles crack codes, maneuver through a back alley rope maze, ward off bad guys with a pizza thrower, and work together to drive the shell-raiser back to the sewer lair.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Secrets of the Sewer is best-suited for kids ages 6-12. This special exhibit runs Sept. 21-Jan. 5, 2020 at COSI and is included with general admission.
