We had a blast attending our second cardboard regatta at Voice of America Park in West Chester this past Saturday.
Now in its sixth season, the creative boats made from cardboard and duct tape competed in two categories: the fast and the floundering and the soggy bottom battle. It was CRAZY hot but we enjoyed this event so much a couple years ago that we decided we just had to go!
One of these years, our family will have to truly get in on the action and compete with our own homemade boat!
FYI, there was no admission fee but all vehicles entering the park required a vehicle permit, free to Butler County residents, $5 for a one-time pass or $10 for an annual hang tag.
