It’s festival time! The air is cool, the sun is warm and there are no shortage of fun events to fill your October weekends.
One of our must do’s is always the Sunflower Festival at Gorman Heritage Farm in Reading. Yes, there are many festivals to choose from, but if you love sunflowers or love taking awesome photos of the kids then this one’s for you!
Stroll through fields of golden sunflowers while collecting some to take home, pick your favorite pumpkin to launch, take on a hay ride and visit with the animals.This annual celebration of the fall harvest is a local favorite, receiving recognition as one of the best events in the state according to Ohio Magazine.

Adults $8
Kids (ages 3-17) $5.
Kids 2 and under are free.
Free activities both days include: corn maze, hay rides (11am-3pm), face painting, miniature horse carriage rides (10am-12pm) and mule drawn carriage rides (11am-3pm). You can also test your skill at our pumpkin fling ($1 each.10am-3pm), take home sunflowers ($1 each or 12 for $10), buy pumpkins ($5 medium, $7 large) as well as visit our many vendors and food trucks!
