The Wild Banana

Looking for a sweet treat that feels like a reward but still keeps things on the healthy side? Meet The Wild Banana — a bright, family-friendly smoothie truck that’s serving up good-for-you goodness with a splash of fun across the Dayton area. Whether you’re chasing kids around the playground or heading out for a family adventure, this mobile smoothie shack is the perfect pit stop.

A Food Truck That’s as Fun as It Is Fresh

Founded by Jessica Benson, a mom and Virginia Beach native who now calls Dayton home, The Wild Banana was born out of a love for clean, colorful food and a dream of making healthy snacks fun and accessible. What started as a smoothie truck is now a full-on local favorite — and recently, they even opened a permanent spot at the Englewood Fun Center (so you can grab a smoothie bowl while the kids burn off energy!).

Smoothie Bowls with Personality

The Wild Banana’s menu is built around vibrant smoothie bowls and smoothies made with real, frozen fruit and almond milk — with no artificial junk. Most items are totally vegan (they just use honey and bee pollen as optional toppings).

Some crowd favorites?

The Sahara Bowl — A pink dragon fruit base topped with granola, banana, pineapple, peanut butter, honey, and chia seeds.

The Cali Bowl — A purple acai and blueberry base with strawberries, hemp seeds, peanut butter, and more.

Kids love the bright colors and toppings (hello, peanut butter drizzle!), and parents love knowing it’s made with ingredients they can actually pronounce.

Prefer to sip? Try one of their smoothies like the Blue Pacific (with blue spirulina and tropical fruits) or the Mango Sunrise, sweetened with a touch of honey and bee pollen.

A Treat You Can Feel Good About

For parents trying to sneak in some extra fruit and fiber — without a fight — The Wild Banana is a win-win. It’s a fun outing, a nutritious snack, and a colorful Instagram moment all in one. Plus, you can customize your bowl or smoothie to fit even the pickiest little eater.

Bottom line: Whether you’re after a post-soccer snack, a weekend treat, or just a break from the usual drive-thru, The Wild Banana makes healthy eating feel like a treat — for kids and grown-ups alike.
